“THE SECRET OF GETTING AHEAD IS GETTING STARTED ”
MARK TWAIN
Hi, I'm Andrea. But you can call me Drea.
I'm a technologist, creative thinker, and endlessly curious explorer who believes that the best ideas come from looking beyond what's familiar.
Born and raised in East and South Africa and now based in Seattle, my journey has taken me across industries, disciplines, and more than 20 countries. Along the way, I've developed a fascination with how people, cultures, technology, and businesses connect.
Professionally, I live at the intersection of technology, data, design, and strategy. I love transforming complicated problems into thoughtful, practical solutions—whether that means engineering automated systems, bringing a new product to market, or creating something entirely from scratch.
But there's much more to me than my work.
I believe in collecting experiences, exploring new perspectives, embracing creativity, and never limiting myself to a single title or path.
Drea Codes is where all those worlds meet.
Creativity has never been limited to one medium for me.
Some days, I'm exploring fictional worlds through gaming. Others, I'm writing poetry, composing music, practicing guitar, or getting lost in an interior design idea. I find balance through swimming and yoga, and I love bringing people together through thoughtful, memorable events.
Whether I'm designing a room, planning a celebration, or building something with code, I'm happiest when I have the freedom to imagine, experiment, and create.
20+ Countries. Countless Perspectives
I've always been fascinated by the world beyond my own backyard. Traveling has shaped how I think, create, connect with people, and approach unfamiliar challenges. Every destination offers a different perspective—and usually another reason to keep exploring.
